Road Construction
Road construction is vital for infrastructure development, economic growth, and societal connectivity. We leverage advanced technology, sustainable practices, and meticulous planning, to create resilient and efficient roadways that cater to the needs of contemporary transportation and future demands. Inspite of adverse weather conditions, budget constraints where we have to balance cost-effectiveness with quality and safety requirements and regulatory compliance, we are resilient as a team to wield our way into excellence and catching edge deliverables.
We bring on board our expertise through the 8 dimensional process of road construction from planning and design to commissioning.
1. Planning & Design
o Feasibility Studies: Assessing the viability of the project, including environmental impact, cost analysis, and route planning.
o Surveying: Detailed land surveys to map the terrain and plan the road alignment.
o Design: Creating detailed engineering designs, including the road layout, drainage systems, and structural components.
2. Site Clearance & Preparation
o Clearing and Grubbing: Removing vegetation, debris, and other obstacles from the construction site.
o Excavation and Earthworks: Shaping the land by cutting, filling, and grading to create a stable foundation for the road.
3.Subgrade Preparation:
o Compaction: Compacting the soil to create a solid base, ensuring stability and load-bearing capacity.
o Stabilization: Enhancing the subgrade with materials such as lime or cement to improve its strength and durability.
4.Base Layer Construction:
o Aggregate Base: Laying down layers of aggregate materials (gravel, crushed stone) to provide a stable and supportive base for the pavement.
o Drainage Installation: Constructing drainage systems to prevent water accumulation and maintain road integrity.
5. Pavement Construction:
o. Surface Treatment: Applying final surface treatments (seal coats, striping) for enhanced durability and visibility.
o. Road Markings: Painting lanes, crosswalks, and other essential markings to guide and ensure safety for road users.
6. Finishing and Marking:
o Testing: Conducting tests on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
o Inspection: Regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
7. Inspection and Quality Control:
o Testing: Conducting tests on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
o Inspection: Regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
8.Opening and Maintenance:
o. Commissioning: Final inspection and approval before opening the road to traffic.
o. Maintenance: Ongoing maintenance to address wear and tear, ensuring the road remains safe and functional.
